Visit to Peenemünde

Expedition 9: V1 ramps

At the very northern point of Usedom there was a launch area with several launching ramps for testing the flying bomb Fieseler Fi 103 "V1".
The ramps are best reached by using the bus tour offered at the air field.

Remains of two launching ramps..

Third launch ramp, with lecture about the history of the V1 and the Luftwaffe's test site
