Valentina Ponomaryova (backup of Valentina Tereshkova,

the selection and training of the first Soviet women
cosmonauts, and women in space in general.
She was very happy about all the attention paid to her,
and was friendly signing everything the autograph collector presented to
her.

More lectures were about the BIRD fire detection satellite
system, near Earth asteroids, anecdotes from space,
the Galileo satellite navigation system, and the EAC
space trainee program.
